The Red Maple tree is a tree that goes by a number of different names. Some of the other names for the Red Maple tree are also called:

- Red maple
(Acer rubrum) or red maple grows best in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 3 or 4 through 9, making it a versatile tree for many areas of the country. Native to eastern North America and growing from the oceans to the prairies, red maple has the widest north-to-south native range of all other trees on the East Coast.
